Wow! Houston Novice Invitational sponsored by the Southwest Whip Club was held 3-5 of March 2006 I can’t really speak for everyone but I think they all had a great time. I know I did. I took in the neighborhood of 450 photos. My battery went dead twice. I came to the realization I need an external flash (as my page of bad lighting examples called “Wish I had a Flash” will attest) If I ever get it published. I do not intend to post all 450 shots so if I took your picture and you don’t see it, it was probably out of focus or I couldn’t enhance it enough to put it anywhere. As is always the case if you see a photo of yourself that you don’t like please just let me know and I will pull it ASAP. The continuing saga of Gary’s CRS is in full force so any help anyone can give me regarding missing or incorrect names please send me corrections at gary@gary-richie.com. I have decided to try something new. I am going to put both high-res and low-res photos under this page. I will separate them so anyone using a dialup or other slow connection won’t have to wait forever to see each page. The high-res page will be the original that has been cropped. The download times for Low vs Hi res at 56K dial-up are the thumbnails take about 0.3 sec for low and 1.8 sec for hi and the Photos take 2.6 sec for low and 15.0 sec for hi. Let me know if loading both are worth while because it is a bit of a pain to duplicate the effort. Now then, here is the basic layout for this section:
